Deborah Baxtrom

Deborah Baxtrom is originally from Wisconsin but relocated to Los Angeles after receiving her MFA in Film Screenwriting/Directing at Columbia University, NYC. She received her BA in Communications from Southern Adventist University in Tennessee. 


She has taught game theory, acting for animation and games, and screenwriting for games, as well as developing curriculum, at West Virginia University.


Deborah wrote the original screenplay, MARY’S MONSTER, currently in pre-production with Fulwell 73 and Rose Pictures. She also wrote the game script for “Clue Syndicate 3,” wrote and directed the short film ETHEL’S SOFA, featured in over 30 film festivals worldwide, and wrote and directed the web-series LIVING WITH FRANKENSTEIN. 

 

In addition, she is the author of the book, “You Can Make a Short Film with Your Digital Camera.”
